$17/hr with an additional 50 cents/mile for locations more than thirty miles out of Fuquay.

Classes:

13 and up, $135 a class, plus book
12 and under, $90 a class, plus book

Sibling discount:

25% each if more than one child per family signs up for either class or tutoring.

Calligraphy is one of civilization's oldest arts. It is the art of taking simple but meaningful text and embellishing it with flourishes and illumination. Welcome to Historical Inspirations

Historical Inspirations is a teaching program designed to help home schooled students discover the exciting world of ages past. I have often been told by people that they think history is boring, but I don’t believe it has to be that way. Many people find themselves lost in dates and boring texts, only to read the same lines over and over again. Historical Inspirations makes use of visual aids, sound bites, and hands-on projects in addition to regular text. In this way, we hope to bring history out of the book, and show how it is relative to life today.

The courses I offer examine what God has planned with respect to history. In each course, we’ll examine the historical record while remembering that it was all in God’s hands.
Your student will be exposed to a regular class setting and learn how to interact with other students. After the course is completed, your student will be equipped with the knowledge of an accomplished scholar.
Unlike many other classes, in this one the Bible comes first. Each student will be held accountable to Biblical standards, both in class and in their coursework.
